About
A jurist, an author, a coach.

Georg Lagerberg is a Swedish lawyer, author, management and life coach. He holds two Master of Laws (LLM) degrees: one from the University of Gothenburg’s School of Business, Economics and Law, and the other from the University of London’s intercollegiate LLM programme — studying at the Centre for Commercial Legal Studies at Queen Mary, SOAS and UCL.
His legal career has spanned several positions in Sweden, particularly within the legal and legislative sectors. He spent a considerable amount of time at the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare, where he gained a deep understanding of healthcare systems and welfare challenges in a modern, developed nation. He later served as a manager at the Swedish Agency for the Media, overseeing both the Swedish Media Support Board and the Swedish Broadcasting Commission.
In politics
Parallel to his legal work, Georg has been very active politically. He is a member of a centre-right party and has held positions at both council and regional levels in Sweden.
In the Church of Sweden
For the past three decades, he has been deeply involved with the Church of Sweden — on parish boards, diocesan boards and the Cathedral chapter. Nationally he has served on the Church board, the General Synod and its International Council.
In the markets
His interest in finance began at the age of twelve, when he bought his first stocks. He has been a close student of the markets ever since.
Today
After many years as a manager building and leading effective teams, Georg now focuses on coaching and advice — management and life coaching for groups or individuals. He is writing books that blend his knowledge and experience across politics, economics, media, law, psychology and theology. Alongside his partner he runs a company developing financial-literacy apps and training.
Born and raised in Gothenburg, he has also lived in Stockholm, London and Montréal. Since 2025 he lives in Lucerne, Switzerland.
